On the occasion of his participation to the Sixth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD VI), to be hosted in Nairobi, Kenya, on 27 and 28 August 2016, the President of the ECOWAS Commission, His Excellency Marcel A. de SOUZA, pay a courtesy visit to the Vice-President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), HE Hiroshi Kato.

During their meeting, the two personalities exchanged views on priority projects in the region enrolled in Community Development Programme of ECOWAS as well as on strategies for strengthening cooperation between the two parties.
